My opinion on the death penalty

I think the death penalty is a good idea to have it in every state because it might open people's eyes and think twice about there actions before they commit to them. It also depends on the offense to I think for murder and rape or molest should be a reason somebody would get the death penalty. Heres some cases in which these people got the death penalty for the things they did. 

CASE 1

On 12/31/1999, Sells entered a Del Rio residence occupied by a 13 year old white female and a 10 year old white female. Sells entered the residence with intent to sexually assault the 13 year old. Sells cut her throat and stabbed her many different times,then the act ended in the girls death. Sells then slashed the throat of the 10 year old but she survived the attack.

  

CASE 2

On 08/13/2001, in Houston, Texas, Russell fatally stabbed a 40 year old black female. Russell believed that the victim had set him up on a delivery of cocaine charge. Russell was sentenced to ten year's on the cocaine charge, and committed this offense while on bond from the court to get his personal affairs in order before serving his sentence.

CASE 3

Holberg robbed and murdered an 80 year old white male in his home. The victim was struck with a hammer and stabbed nearly 60 times. The weapons used were a paring knife, a butcher knife, a grapefruit knife, and a fork. A lamp pole had been shoved more than 5 inches down the victim's throat.

In all of these cases there where horrible cases of gruesome  acts of violence in which the violators now faces the death penalty. If i where family to these victims I would want the violators to face the death penalty.
